Voter Information

Election Day is November 6th, 2018, in Shelby County for state and federal general elections.  Polling locations and hours, and a sample ballot will be posted when released by the Shelby County Election Commission.  

The last day to register for the November 6th election is October 9th.  See below for information on registering.

Early voting will be from October 17th-Nov 1st.  Polling locations and hours will be posted when released by the Shelby County Election Commission.  


Online Voter Registration is now available in Tennessee.  Click here to access online registration. You must have a Tennessee driver's license or Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security ID in order to submit this application online. If you do not have a Tennessee driver's license or Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security ID, you will be able to print the voter registration form and submit by mail.   

TN requirements to vote:

·         You must be a U.S. Citizen

·         You must be a resident of Tennessee

·         You must be at least 18 years old on/or before the next election

·         You must not have been convicted of a felony, or if you have, your voting rights must have been restored
